The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping has approved a new VR simulator that helps train specialists for receiving helicopters on offshore platforms and vessels.
This simulator is a special virtual reality program that accurately replicates the process of landing and receiving helicopters. It can be used for training an individual or an entire team.
The simulator allows practicing different situations, including emergencies, so that specialists can work better together and make the right decisions in difficult conditions.
The inspection showed that the simulator fully complies with all safety requirements and standards for working at sea.
