"The most multifunctional simulator in the world": Russian Armed Forces received the VR simulator "Nebo-22" for training UAV operators

Servicemen are trained to pilot in "kamikaze" mode and evade electronic warfare systems

The VR simulator for training UAV operators "Nebo-22" is being massively transferred to military units and training centers of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. This was announced by the IT director of the company "Virtual Simulation Systems "Era"" Vyacheslav Timofeev.

According to him, the "Nebo-22" simulator includes more than 25 training modules for different types of UAVs. With its help, servicemen are trained in:

  • takeoff and landing
  • payload dropping
  • reconnaissance
  • piloting in "kamikaze" mode
  • skills to evade electronic warfare systems

Real maps of combat operations are implemented in "Nebo-22". The simulator also added a drone designer function so that the operator can set the tactical and technical characteristics of any type of UAV and practice its control skills.
