Unmanned boat "Breeze" successfully tested in the Arkhangelsk region

The vessel will be used for cargo transportation to remote islands of the region

The sea unmanned boat "Breeze", developed by the St. Petersburg company "Si Project", has been tested in the Arkhangelsk region.

The project was launched three years ago, the boat is equipped with a diesel engine from one of the Yaroslavl factories and domestic radio-electronic communication systems. The vessel is designed to transport cargo weighing up to 500 kg.

The tests are timed to coincide with the preparation of experimental cargo transportation to remote islands of the Arkhangelsk region. In July, flights are planned along the Arkhangelsk – Solovki route, during which about 150 kg of payload will be delivered, including supplies for Arkhobлэnergo.

The project is being implemented on the instructions of the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky as part of an agreement with the companies "Si Project" and "Unmanned Logistics", signed at SPIEF. The Arkhangelsk region will be the first region in the country where unmanned vessels will begin to perform socially significant tasks.
