Drone production in Russia tripled planned volumes — thanks to national projects

New models showcased at Innoprom-2025, from helicopter UAVs to heavy amphibious vehicles

At the strategic session of the Innoprom-2025 forum in Yekaterinburg, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated that the production of unmanned aerial systems in Russia has tripled the planned volumes. He emphasized that this was made possible thanks to state support and the inclusion of UAS in national projects to ensure technological leadership.

Mishustin noted that enterprises are not only increasing production but also mastering the production of new models, including civilian drones.

For example, the exhibition features advanced equipment, including a heavy amphibious drone for delivering goods to remote regions and a helicopter UAV, which became the first officially approved for operation in Russia.

The head of government called for maintaining the pace of development and setting even more ambitious goals for the industry.
