A magnetic storm of minimal strength was recorded on Earth on the morning of July 7. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute for Space Research (IKI) and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics (ISZF) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The storm is the first in July, and it has the weakest possible geomagnetic score, G1.
In general, it is observed again for no apparent reason. As yesterday, the event was not in the forecast.
The disturbance of the Earth's magnetic field persists for now. It is noted that the end of the storm is expected in the next few hours.
In July, magnetic storms will occur throughout almost the entire month, with the most severe expected on July 23 and 24. On all these days, weather-sensitive people may experience headaches and weakness.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Sun ejected a huge prominence towards Earth on July 7.
