Sales fell by 10% compared to last year, with Russian brands in the lead

In June 2025, Russians bought 965 electric vehicles, which is 10% less than in June 2024, but 23% more than in May of this year, when 787 cars were sold. The share of electric vehicles in the total sales of new passenger cars increased to 1.1%. This is reported by the Avtostat agency.

The most popular electric vehicle in Russia was the Chinese Zeekr, with sales of 248 units. In second place were the Russian brands Evolute and "Moskvich" with 187 and 133 cars sold, respectively. The top three were rounded out by the Chinese brands Ora (74 cars) and BYD (61 cars).

The model rating is led by Evolute I-Pro with 135 units sold, followed by Moskvich 3e (133 cars) and Zeekr 001 (131 cars). The top five also included Ora 03 (68 cars) and Evolute I-Joy (49 cars).
