Russian EW systems cover up to 70% of the need for protecting military equipment from drones

Russian Armed Forces soldiers also use small arms and net guns against drones

Electronic warfare (EW) systems cover 65-70% of the need for protection against various types of drones. This was stated by Vadim Myslyaev, Deputy Commander of the Battalion of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the "Center" troop group.

According to him, developers are constantly modernizing EW systems. At the same time, soldiers are not limited to one installation and use several at once.

The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that specialists from the EW unit of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the "Center" troop group cover roads and routes for convoys with equipment. They deploy mobile EW systems, create radio interference to suppress reconnaissance drones and strike UAVs. Roads are also patrolled by military personnel with small arms.
