An unusual car has appeared on the Russian used car market. It looks like the legendary Soviet sedan GAZ M-20 "Pobeda". But under the retro exterior hides a 2004 Mercedes CL 500.
The car is easily recognizable by its characteristic features: streamlined silhouette, rounded headlights, chrome details, radiator grille with a mesh and mirrors on legs. These elements give it similarity to Soviet cars. Although this is not an exact copy of the "Pobeda", the model is still recognizable. The price of the car is five million rubles.
This project was created on the basis of the W215 platform, which was produced from 1999 to 2006. The CL 500 was equipped with V8 gasoline engines with a capacity of 306 to 500 horsepower. The top version accelerated to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
However, the technical characteristics fade into the background, because the car is unique. According to the seller, there are only three such cars in the country, the other two are probably in private collections.
The car is unique, there are only three in Russia, you can become the owner of one of them. The most important thing is that all changes are entered in the vehicle title, the car is registered with the traffic police, and driving it is completely legal.
The car was created on the basis of a 2004 Mercedes CL500 (W215). The mileage at the time of assembly was about 50 thousand kilometers. The basis of the car is the engine, gearbox, chassis and electronics from Mercedes.
The car has everything you need for comfortable movement, including air conditioning. All security systems are also preserved.
Earlier in Germany, arestored "Volga" of 1987 was put up for sale. The car's odometer shows only 14.5 thousand kilometers.
