Lada Niva Sport Turbo has appeared online. The car was prepared specifically for the 15th international Silk Way Rally, which starts on July 10, 2025.
The car is equipped with a turbocharged engine, reworked from the 1.6-liter Lada Vesta 1.6T "Super-Production" unit, which produces 280 hp and 340 N·m of torque. The power plant works in tandem with a 6-speed sequential gearbox.
The Niva Sport Turbo chassis received a completely new independent suspension with double shock absorbers on both axles. This increased the ground clearance to 350 mm. To increase stability, the track was widened to 1680 mm, and the wheel arches were adapted for sports off-road wheels.
The braking system of the racing "Niva" has been upgraded with 4-piston calipers and discs with a diameter of more than 300 mm. This ensures reliable deceleration at high speeds.
The presentation of the new product took place last week. The car has already attracted the attention of car enthusiasts and rally fans.
