Laying of Railway Tracks Completed at "Port Favor" Liquid Bulk Terminal

New Stage in Port Infrastructure Development: Specialists Conducted Commissioning Works

The laying of railway tracks for the liquid bulk terminal has been successfully completed at the "Favor" port, which is part of the "Port Alliance". Currently, work is underway to ballast, align, and adjust the tracks. This was reported by the port's official channel.

In total, about 1.4 kilometers of railway track were laid, including: two tracks on the overpass for ammonia discharge, two dead-end tracks for parking cars, three turnouts, and one connecting track for the passage of goods to the liquid bulk terminal.

In addition, commissioning works are currently being carried out on the railway overpass for ammonia discharge. The technological pipeline has already been cleaned and is now being tested for strength, density, and tightness.

The launch of the new infrastructure will be possible after the facilities are put into permanent operation, which will allow signing the necessary documents with Russian Railways to organize the supply and removal of rolling stock on the constructed tracks.
