Specialists of the Scientific and Production Center (SPC) "Wings of Sakhalin" are testing various scenarios for the use of BECs in conjunction with new unmanned automated systems.

The creation of a water training ground is necessary to develop new technical solutions that we are implementing in these complexes. The second task is to practice testing them. The third is training.
Viktor Gritsaenko, General Director of the SPC "Wings of Sakhalin"

With the help of underwater robotic systems, specialists can explore the seabed, build its digital twin, identify sunken debris, and explore areas that are not accessible to humans.

In the future, BECs will be used to deliver cargo from Sakhalin to the Kuril Islands. The first test launches will begin in 2026.
