Впервые в России: цифровую систему управления движениям внедрили на МЦД-4

Interval-Based Train Regulation Will Enhance Safety and Capacity on the Diameter Line

The Moscow Central Diameter line (MCD-4) has become the first in Russia to implement a digital interval-based train regulation system. Now, trains on this line do not depend on traffic light signals but exchange data with each other. Drivers can independently control the speed and distance to the trains ahead.

The innovative system is resistant to cyberattacks. The latest updates were completed at the Kuskovo and Reutov stations, as well as on the stretch between them.

The transition to the new traffic management system will increase the capacity of MCD-4. In the future, trains will be able to run with minimal intervals, making trips more convenient and efficient for passengers.
