"Hang up without talking": it is dangerous to communicate with scammers, even if you recognize the deception

Attackers can use the victim's voice and intonation in further schemes

It is unsafe to talk to scammers. Even if you recognize the deception, immediately end the conversation, this will prevent fraudsters from using your voice and intonation in other schemes. This was reported by Alla Khrapunova, an expert at the "People's Front. Analytics" direction.

We often repeat: if you hear a scammer, hang up. This rule should become mandatory. But many do not adhere to it and boast that they spoke with scammers, delayed them in conversation, thereby possibly saving someone else from attacks.

The expert notes that people are increasingly recognizing the deception and understand that scammers are calling. Nevertheless, any communication with fraudsters remains risky.

Even if you are confident in your abilities, unfortunately, scammers have psychological techniques of subtle influence on the victim's consciousness in their arsenal. And then you suddenly begin to worry that something is really happening to your money.

She also noted that every conversation is important for scammers. They collect real voices, intonations and reactions, which they then use in other fraudulent schemes.

Don't risk yourself, your data - hang up without talking.
