The largest Russian arms concern "Kalashnikov" and the manufacturer of the fiber-optic FPV drone "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky", ANO "SPC "Ushkuynik", will create a joint venture in Veliky Novgorod. This was reported by the press service of the concern.
The corresponding agreement was signed on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Alan Lushnikov, CEO of "Kalashnikov", believes that this partnership has great prospects.
He emphasized that the Russian Armed Forces require advanced solutions for offensive and defensive operations with a short development and implementation cycle. Many new types of weapons are being tested in combat conditions, Lushnikov added.
Therefore, from the point of view of optimally reducing the time in the "development-production-application" chain, partnership with "Ushkuynik" has obvious advantages.
