The Rostec corporation has created a new electronic warfare system called “Scalpel”. The complex protects many enterprises of the Russian defense industry from drone attacks, said the head of the company, Sergei Chemezov.
According to him, “Scalpel” is currently protecting many defense enterprises, including ammunition production.
The new “Scalpel” complex is capable of finding and suppressing various types of drones, including FPV drones and previously invulnerable drones controlled in a wider frequency range.
In addition, the High-Precision Complexes holding has developed an innovative air space control system based on mini-radars to search for low-visibility targets, including drones.
The complex can operate in standby mode. Information about objects that appear in the sky is sent to headquarters, and there they decide whether to destroy or escort the targets.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the new patrol ship “Kholmsk” was launched.
