Грузы из Китая в Амурскую область хотят доставлять дронами

A transport hub using drones will appear in the Russian border region

The authorities of the Amur Region want to launch an international transport hub. It will allow receiving cargo from China. They want to deliver it to Russia using drones.

The distance to China in the Amur Region is only 750 kilometers. It is planned that cargo across the Amur River to Blagoveshchensk can be delivered using helicopter-type drones. Drones will be able to fly to hard-to-reach areas of the city.

For the successful implementation of the project, it is necessary to establish interaction between state and private structures, as well as clarify legislative norms. Senator Artem Sheikin said that it is necessary to agree on flight rules, requirements for landing sites, and frequency allocation for unmanned aerial vehicles between Russia and China. An important step will be the approval of the concept of an "international landing site" and the creation of a state checkpoint for the operation of the hub.

A working group will be created to implement the project, which will include representatives of various ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Transport, Rosaviation, and the FSB. Sheikin noted that the coordinated work of all interested parties and the development of common standards are critical to achieving the goals.

In 2024, 16.4 thousand civilian drones were produced in Russia, which is 5 thousand more than planned. Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko called for an increase in the production of drones, emphasizing their potential in various industries, including forestry.
