From June 9 to 15, 2025, during the 24th week of 2025, 369 new GAC cars were sold in Russia. After a long break, the Chinese brand returned to the Top 10 of the Russian market. The last time it was there was in the 51st week of last year. At the same time, the Japanese Toyota left this ranking, although it had been in it for two weeks in a row — from the 22nd to the 23rd.
The domestic brand Lada continues to lead the market. Over the past week, 4,265 passenger cars of this brand were sold. Four Chinese brands also reached a significant milestone: Haval sold 1,508 cars, Chery — 1,357, Changan — 1,148, and Geely — 1,058 cars.
The top ten also included Belgee (671), Jetour (563), GAC (369), OMODA (348), and Solaris (333). Sales of other brands did not exceed 300 units.
In the 24th week, 15.4 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia. This is 34% less than the previous week and 40% worse than last year's figures. It is important to note that last week was short — only three working days.
Earlier, the automaker Haval rewrote prices for three crossovers in Russia. The base version of the Haval M6 has decreased in price by 100 thousand rubles. The Dargo and Dargo X models became more affordable by 150 thousand rubles each.
