Analysts of "Discovery Auto" shared statistics of pickup sales in Russia in 2023. A total of 7 months this year, 8.4 thousand new pickups were sold - more than for the entire last year. At the same time, the leader has changed on the market for the first time in a long time.
If since 2015 the most popular model was a UAZ pickup truck, then now it's a Great Wall Poer. In July this Chinese model was sold in the amount of 343 pieces, while only 266 UAZ "Pickup" were sold.

- UAZ "Pickup" - 266 pcs;
- Mitsubishi L200 – 176 pcs.;
- JAC T6 – 173 pcs.;
- Dodge Ram – 165 pcs.;
- Toyota Hilux – 138 pcs.;
- DFM Rich – 45 pcs.;
- Changan Hunter Plus – 36 pcs.;
- Toyota Tundra/Tacoma – 21 pcs.;
- JAC T8 Pro (12 pcs.).
The cost of the Great Wall Poer starts from the mark of 3,449 million rubles. Such a sum is estimated for the Comfort package with a 150-strong motor, a manual transmission and a full drive. The top version of Premium for 3,749 million rubles differs in terms of units only by having an 8-speed "automatic".
