Strategic bomber-missile carriers used Kh-22 "Storm" cruise missiles — heavy Soviet ammunition that has received a second life in recent years.

The missiles reach speeds of up to Mach 5, are capable of climbing to a height of up to 40 km, and can hit targets at a distance of up to 600 km. The weight of their warhead reaches 960 kg, with over 600 of them being explosives.

Due to its colossal mass and speed, the missile penetrates even heavily fortified targets, from fortifications to ships.

Developed back in Soviet times, the Kh-22 "Storm" is now back in service and is actively used.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Tu-160M bomber surpassed the American B-1 Lancer: greater flight range and combat load.
