A special train from Yekaterinburg delivered a 300-ton power transformer to Divnogorsk, which will be used to modernize the units of the Krasnoyarsk HPP. It became the last of the seven oversized devices that were transported to the hydroelectric power station since August 2020.
All power transformers are classified as heavyweight cargo and have non-standard dimensions: the width is 3 meters, and the height exceeds 4 meters. A special platform was used for their transportation — a well-type transporter 40 meters long.
The transportation was organized by a subsidiary of the RZD Logistics holding, which excluded sections with size restrictions from the route. At the Divnogorsk station, the cargo was carefully moved from the platform to a lowboy trailer using jacks to ensure its integrity and safety. After that, the transformer was delivered along the highway to the Krasnoyarsk HPP, where it will be installed to improve the operation of the station.
