The Russian T-90M "Proryv" tank surpasses Western vehicles in terms of protection, as it has received all-aspect dynamic protection. The advantages of the tank were named by the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov.
According to him, if we compare foreign tanks and domestic ones, the advantage of the T-90M "Proryv" is in firepower, armor and mobility.
It has a longer "arm" due to the guided munition and all-aspect dynamic protection.
Chemezov noted that there were cases when dozens of drones hit the T-90M, but the vehicle retained its combat capability.
The modernized T-90M is equipped with a turret module with multi-layered armor. The vehicle's protection is also provided by "Relikt" dynamic protection and anti-drone screens. The tank received a diesel engine with a power of 1130 hp.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the new Rodnik 3D radar was created for the military, but it is not able to detect small drones.
