The forces of the Baltic and Northern Fleets practiced a missile strike on the ships of a mock enemy, large-scale exercises in the Baltic Sea continue. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The frigate "Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov" Project 22350, carrier of hypersonic missiles "Tsirkon", together with the ships of the Baltic Fleet, struck at the "enemy detachment".
Combat anti-terror groups also conducted training exercises to inspect and release vessels seized by militants.
In addition, Su-27 fighters conducted training battles with mock enemy aircraft. The planes searched for the enemy and launched air-to-air missiles at targets.
The armament of the frigates of Project 22350 includes anti-ship missiles "Onyx" or "Caliber", the anti-submarine torpedo complex "Paket-NK", the anti-aircraft missile system "Poliment-Redut" and an artillery installation. A Ka-27 helicopter can be based on board the ships.
