A fraudulent application called "Gazprombank My Account" has been discovered in the AppStore, which may pose a threat to users. An official representative of the bank warned customers about the need to avoid downloading this software, as it is designed to steal personal and financial data.
According to Gazprombank, the fake application mimics the interface of a legitimate banking service, but its real purpose is to gain access to logins, passwords, and payment details. Unlike the official application, which can be downloaded through the website of the bank, the fraudulent version is distributed through the Apple store.
How to protect yourself:
- Download applications only from official bank websites.
- Check the developer: legitimate applications indicate the real owner.
- Never enter card details and passwords in suspicious forms.
If you have already installed a suspicious application, delete it immediately and contact the bank's support service. Detailed instructions on data protection can be found in the official Telegram channel of Gazprombank.
