The crew of the large landing ship (LST) "Peresvet" (Project 775M) of the Pacific Fleet underwent exercises to protect the ship while anchored in an unprotected roadstead in one of the bays of the Kuril Islands.
The sailors practiced actions for mine countermeasures and anti-submarine sabotage defense. To hit surface targets, they threw hand grenades and fired from an assault rifle from the LST's board.
Servicemen of the Pacific Fleet protected "Peresvet" from drones and unmanned boats (BEC) of a mock enemy. To accomplish this task, they used AK-630M 30 mm automatic artillery systems and 12.7 mm machine guns.
