Russian Poseidon nuclear torpedoes, which the Belgorod special-purpose nuclear submarine (NPS) of project 09852 is capable of carrying, may surpass any ship in speed.
It is noted that the submarine's arsenal may include up to six torpedoes with a nuclear warhead and a nuclear power plant. They can hit coastal cities and aircraft carrier strike groups of the enemy.
“Poseidon torpedoes have virtually unlimited range, and also, presumably, a very high maximum speed, which is likely to surpass almost all submarines and surface ships.
The official characteristics of the torpedo are currently unknown. Presumably, it is 20 m long, 1.8 m in diameter and weighs about 100 tons and is completely invulnerable to modern means of protection
After launch, Poseidon acts as an unmanned device that can be remotely directed to the target at a speed of up to 190 km/h.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the new Rodnik 3D radar was created for the military, but it is not able to detect small drones.
