The Kalashnikov Concern (part of Rostec) has shipped the first production batch of 5.45mm light machine guns with belt feed RPL-20 to the customer under a state contract for 2025. RPL-20 is a Russian light machine gun with belt feed, created in the design and technology center of the concern.
During business trips to the zone of the special military operation, Kalashnikov specialists presented the product to military personnel, paying special attention to the features of firing from the RPL-20.
The machine gun is made in "Multicam" camouflage, which is used for the first time in the production of small arms using the example of the shortened AK-12K assault rifle.
This RPL-20 camouflage is caused by the need for maximum camouflage of military personnel and their weapons in various combat conditions. Note that the military equipment of soldiers in "Multicam" camouflage with a machine gun of the same color demonstrates a high level of stealth in various types of terrain and a wide range of distances.
