Russian unmanned systems hold leading positions in some areas. Their technologies are so advanced that foreign countries often copy their developments. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.
In some segments, Russian unmanned systems are already the most advanced in the world, outperforming foreign counterparts, and foreigners often copy them.
The head of state noted that in recent years, Russian engineers and designers have made significant progress. Domestic prototypes and serial models of drones were recently presented at an exhibition in Moscow. Foreign leaders also got acquainted with them.
Also, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov informed Putin about a patent for the technology of launching drones from a space station.
Earlier in Chelyabinsk, a prototype of an air defense system against drones was created. It finds the target and hits it with buckshot or missiles. Elements of the complex have already been tested.
