A new 107-mm towed multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) has been spotted in service with the Russian military. Military expert Evgeny Damantsev did not rule out that it could be the North Korean Type 75.
Often, the system is typically used as a nimble and compact field MLRS for the near zone, which is easy to hide in a field underground shelter, easy and quick to roll out manually, fire a volley, and quickly hide back in the shelter.
From the Type 75, it is possible to easily launch up to 12 shells equivalent to a 105-mm howitzer at a range of up to 8.5 km in less than 10 seconds from a weapon of almost toy size - a useful option.
