At the international forum CIPR-2025, the holding company "Rosel" (part of Rostec) presented the interactive educational platform IIoT.Istok.Kids, developed by NPP Istok named after A.I. Shokin. The project is designed to teach schoolchildren the basics of electronics, programming, and the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in a game format.
According to Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec, the platform allows children to create projects in the field of "smart home", industrial automation, and logistics. For example, schoolchildren can develop a control system for a "smart greenhouse", where temperature, humidity, and lighting are regulated using sensors and actuators.
It immerses schoolchildren in the basics of electronics, programming, automation, and the Internet of Things in a playful way. With its help, you can create projects in the field of "smart home", industrial control, and logistics. For example, you can develop a smart greenhouse control system, where plant growing conditions are optimized through sensors and actuators.
The child's task is to choose a digital solution: turn off the light, turn on the ventilation, or reduce humidity. All this is done through a touch interface.
The IIoT.Istok.Kids platform is built on the basis of the industrial IoT solution IIoT.Istok, which is already used in education, medicine, and logistics. It can be used both in schools and universities, helping to prepare a new generation of specialists for the digital economy.
