Solar, a part of the Rostelecom group, is preparing to enter the cybersecurity market for individuals with a new product that will combine several protective functions. This was announced by Vladimir Bengin, Director of Product Development, at the CIPR-2025 forum in Nizhny Novgorod.
The service will include tools for blocking unwanted sites (e.g., for parental control), filtering fraudulent resources, anti-spam protection, and ad blocking. According to Bengin, some companies have already expressed interest in the solution, but their names have not yet been disclosed.
Currently, banks and operators offer their own cybersecurity solutions, but they are fragmented. According to Denis Kuskov, CEO of Telecom Daily, a unified platform from a state operator could improve user protection. Experts, including Eldar Murtazin from Mobile Research Group, believe that the entry of a major player will increase competition and accelerate the development of security technologies.
