An unusual incident occurred near the "Belaya Ploshchad" business center, close to the "Belorusskaya" metro station: a delivery robot threw off a man who decided to use the device as a bench. Eyewitnesses reported that a citizen with a bottle of beer tried to sit on the rover, which was following its route.
Although such incidents are not new, this time the machine reacted actively. The rover sharply changed its trajectory, jerking and moving in different directions until the intruder was on the ground. The device's movements resembled the behavior of an animal trying to get rid of a rider, which surprised and amused passersby.
Delivery robots in Moscow have long become part of the urban infrastructure. In most cases, citizens are friendly to them, help them overcome obstacles, and do not interfere with their work. However, episodes involving the violation of the technology's "personal boundaries" demonstrate that even automated systems can react to interference in their operation.
This case underscores the need for respectful treatment of urban robotics, which performs useful functions and provides service to residents of the metropolis.
