The magnetic storm on Earth will last at least until June 3, and its strength will change periodically. This was reported by the Institute of Applied Geophysics.
Due to the persistent effects of coronal mass ejection, geomagnetic storms are expected to be predominantly G1-G2, with periods of G3-G4 until the end of June 2.
It is likely that on June 3, a decrease in the level of the geomagnetic storm to G1 is expected.
The magnetic storm on Earth has been continuing for almost a day, its level continues to drop to G1 (weak) from the very strong (G4) recorded on June 1.
Specialists from the Institute of Applied Geophysics noted that on June 1, the degree of disturbance of the Earth's magnetic field rose to G4 - "very strong" on a scale of five indicators, where G5 is "extremely strong" and G1 is "weak".
