The state-owned Ryazan Instrument Plant (GRPZ, part of JSC "Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies") has supplied about 6.5 thousand units of "Forsage" inverter welding equipment in the last 5 years. This was reported by the Rostec press service.
The plant now produces a line of products represented by 18 models of different classes: from household to industrial for all types of professional arc welding at currents from 160 A to 500 A.
Characteristics of the "Forsage-161" welding machine:
- Welding current — 15-160 A
- Electrode diameter — 1.6-4 mm
- No-load voltage in active mode — 55-70 V
- Maximum power consumption — 5.5 kVA
- Power supply — Single-phase network 220 V 50 Hz
- Weight — 4.3 kg
Inverter welding equipment converts alternating current into direct current. These machines are lightweight and compact. Inverters are suitable for various types of welding, including manual arc welding, semi-automatic welding, argon-arc welding, and gas welding.
