LOMO (Leningrad Optical Mechanical Association named after V. I. Lenin, part of the Kalashnikov concern), the leading Russian enterprise in the production of optical, optoelectronic, opto-digital, and opto-mechanical devices, has delivered the MSK-3-1 microscope to the заказчик.
The MSK-3-1 is used for ballistic (examination of weapons and ammunition) and trace evidence examinations (examination of traces left on various surfaces) in forensic laboratories.
The microscope is designed for observing two comparable objects in reflected light, which are simultaneously or separately visible in the field of view of the binocular head eyepieces.
The images of objects observed through the microscope can be transmitted to a video camera using adapters for subsequent computer analysis.

- Largest diameter of the object area under consideration — 33 mm
