Currently, mass production of the Lada Iskra family of cars is underway. Official prices and configurations have not yet been disclosed; they are planned to be announced closer to the start of sales, which is expected by July 20, 2025. However, it is already known that Iskra will be the second LADA model after Vesta NG to be equipped with a keyless engine start system.
The Lada Vesta NG car is equipped with an engine start and stop button ("start/stop" button) with article number 8450043511, which is manufactured by "AVAR" PJSC in the city of Pskov. A similar button will also be used in Lada Iskra cars, as follows from the price list of LADA Image, the official distributor of AvtoVAZ.
All published photos of the interior of Lada Iskra, taken after the start of mass production, show a regular ignition lock. It is likely that the keyless entry system will only appear in the LUXE version, photos of which have not yet been published. Or this function may become available for Lada Iskra in the near future.
The factory did not comment on this information. Press service representatives explained that all details on configurations and equipment will appear when the model enters the market.
