Combat vehicles for tank support (BMPT) "Terminator" continue to demonstrate high resistance to means of destruction. In one case, the vehicle came under heavy fire and independently left the battlefield.
Two anti-tank guided missiles hit the left side of the "Terminator", and soon a kamikaze drone crashed into the transmission compartment. In total, according to the military, eight drones, two missiles and a large number of cluster munitions were fired at the vehicle.
Despite the damage and fire, the BMPT remained operational. Dynamic protection was activated, and the fire was extinguished thanks to sandbags used as additional armor. The crew was not injured, and the "Terminator" itself was restored.
The BMPT "Terminator" was adopted by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2018. With a weight of 47 tons, it develops a speed of 65 km/h with a range of 550 km and is considered one of the best in its class. Its armor protection surpasses even the T-90 tank and is being improved taking into account the recommendations of the military.
In addition, this BMPT is notable for its ammunition load - two 7.62 mm machine guns, two 30 mm grenade launchers, two 30 mm cannons, Ataka-T ATGM with several missiles, and the possibility of installing cannons. The maximum range of destruction by "Terminator" missiles is up to 5 km.
Earlier,www1.ru reported that the digital filling of the latest Su-57 fighter has become known, it even has copper lines.
