From May 26, 2025, families with two children in Russia can take advantage of the preferential car loan program. This was announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
Now, not only large families, but also families with two children have the right to participate in the "Family Car" program. Buyers will be able to receive a 20% discount on cars with an internal combustion engine. A higher discount of 25% is provided for residents of the Far East.
A discount of up to 35%, but no more than 925 thousand rubles, is still valid for the purchase of electric vehicles. The innovations are aimed at expanding the access of Russian families to personal transport and stimulating demand for automotive products.
A preferential car loan program has been in effect in Russia since 2017, under which buyers receive a discount. Initially, its size was 10%, later it was increased to 20%. A preferential loan is available to several categories of citizens, including employees of medicine, education, participants of the Special Military Operation and their relatives.
