The Roscosmos Tu-204-300 aircraft made its first official flight to the Vostochny Cosmodrome airport in the Amur Region on May 23, the state corporation's press service reported.
Now spacecraft can be delivered by air directly to the cosmodrome, which will reduce transportation time.
The first passengers were a delegation from the corporation headed by Director General Dmitry Bakanov. Roscosmos emphasized that the plane was greeted with a water salute in the form of an arch.
On May 14, 2025, the airport's runway was officially put into operation.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that almost 4 billion rubles will be allocated in Russia for the refinement of the Ansat helicopter.
