Head of Rosoboronexport denied reports of disruption of supplies of complexes to India

The contract for the supply of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) to India is being fulfilled in accordance with obligations. This was stated by Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport.

The contract is being executed in accordance with the obligations of the parties. The Indian leadership highly appreciated the characteristics and capabilities of these anti-aircraft missile systems.

Thus, Mikheev disproved reports by some foreign media about Russia's alleged disruption of S-400 supplies to India. The parties concluded an agreement in October 2018, five regimental sets cost New Delhi $5.43 billion.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi told reporters that the S-400 systems purchased in Russia, along with other weapons systems of the Indian army, played an important role during the fighting.
