Russian craftsmen have come up with a clever three-layer protection for military equipment against drones

The protection includes rubber sheets, sand and armor plates

Servicemen of the repair and restoration battalion daily return damaged equipment to service. Tense but inconspicuous work is in full swing here, ensuring the uninterrupted combat capability of units on the front line.

Special attention is now paid to protecting equipment from drones. According to Lieutenant Colonel Evgeny Chepanko, the unit has developed a multi-layer protection system that reduces the vulnerability of combat vehicles when attacked from the air.

The first layer is an anti-drone chain-link mesh reinforced with rubber products, the second is sand, the third is armor plates. All this helps to save the lives of the crew.

Damaged equipment is delivered by tractors to the rear, where it undergoes inspection and repair. Even heavily damaged vehicles get a chance to return to service.

Earlier www1.ru reported that mass production of the mini-version of the Geran drone has begun in Russia.
