Automatic transmissions developed for Aurus vehicles are being tested on city buses. This was announced by Denis Endachev, Executive Director of NAMI for Information and Intelligent Systems.
By the way, we started to "broadcast" the gearbox developed for Aurus to the industry. A modified product was created on its base—almost completely analogous to the "Aurus" gearbox.
According to Denis Endanichev, the gearboxes are already undergoing testing. They are planned to be installed on NEFAZ buses, and the control system will be installed on LIAZ. This solution will increase production volume and reduce production costs.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the 6-speed transmission using Aisin technology will be produced in Russia.
