The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces (AF) of Myanmar, Min Aung Hlaing, thanked Russia for the Su-30SME fighters and Mi-17 heavy helicopters. He emphasized the important role of this equipment in strengthening his country's army.
Su-30 — are multifunctional and high-performance fourth-generation fighters. They are becoming an important type of combat aircraft and will play a key role in strengthening our air potential.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Myanmar also noted the professionalism of Russian specialists in the training of military personnel. He added that his country will continue to send its soldiers and civilians for training in the Russian Federation.
