This year, Moscow's "Night at the Museum" broke attendance records: more than 550 thousand guests at 170 venues and over 700 thousand viewers of online broadcasts. The main technological feature was artificial intelligence, which for the first time acted as a digital guide.
The central venue was the Museum of Cosmonautics, where cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov gave an exclusive tour. He spoke about his work on the ISS and the filming of the movie "The Challenge", filmed in zero gravity. At the same time, guests used a neural network assistant that selected routes, provided information about exhibitions, and adapted the program to the interests of visitors. The Moscow Zoo used AR technologies to showcase extinct and rare animals: the mammoth, the Amur tiger, and the Far Eastern leopard. This made it possible not only to visualize them in real time, but also to draw attention to the problems of biodiversity conservation.
In addition to traditional excursions, guests participated in theatrical performances with an immersive effect, listened to poetry with electronic music, and explored digital collections of Moscow designers.
