Better quality footage of the export version of the Su-34 generation "4+" fighter jet for a foreign customer has appeared online, according to blogger and former military pilot Fighterbomber.
The video shows the Su-34 in desert camouflage, which is more red than brown. A large batch of aircraft is being prepared for transfer to an African country, Fighterbomber noted.
The Su-34E differs from the latest modifications of the Su-34 supplied to the Russian Aerospace Forces by an improved electronic warfare (EW) system. The main systems remain unchanged.
And, of course, the export version cannot use weapons with a special warhead. Why make camouflage and mock up noses and tips in bright white, is still beyond my understanding.
