Until recently, AvtoVAZ produced Lada Iskra in almost single copies, but now it is preparing to launch a large batch of bodies. Insiders reported that the welding section should launch mass production of bodies, which will allow to move to real industrial production.
Nothing has changed yet in the painting of Lada Granta, but a lot of Iskra bodies have already been accumulated — the welding has fulfilled the norm: 400 bodies for the first shift and 100 for the second. Now the production lines are not fully loaded and are occupied with other tasks.
As for other models, the assembly lines of Lada Vesta and Granta next week will work fully only in the first shift, and in the second they are loaded by about two-thirds. Then the situation will change the other way around. The Lada Niva assembly line will be loaded by two-thirds until June 2. Such alternating work has already been practiced before, now let's see how it will be this time.
