"METTEM-M" Released Domestic Instrument Clusters with Full-Screen Displays

Moscow-based company "METTEM-M", specializing in the development of electronic equipment, has completed a project to create an instrument cluster with a TFT display for commercial vehicles. The device displays key vehicle parameters: speed, engine RPM, fuel level, and other data in real-time. Previously, solutions using full-screen displays were not produced in Russia.

The project started in 2022 after the company won a competition by the Agency for Technological Development. During the work, the company's specialists created the design and components of the housing, and also developed an electronic unit and basic software. Then, a set of tests was carried out, which corresponded to the technical specifications. It confirmed that all components work reliably and efficiently.

As a result, the design documentation was sent to the Agency for Technological Development. At the same time, "METTEM-M" received an expert opinion confirming that the instrument cluster with a TFT display was produced in Russia. After that, the company began producing these devices for automobile factories and auto repair shops.

Although our company has been creating electronic devices for a long time, each product requires an individual approach. The instrument cluster with a TFT display was no exception. Despite its apparent simplicity, we had to ensure the possibility of manufacturing its analogue in accordance with the requirements for production localization, as well as precise compliance of parameters with technical documentation and trouble-free operation during the standard service life,
Olga Gubeydulina, President of "METTEM-M"
