According to a joint study by "CSoft Development" and NRU "MEI", the vast majority of Russian industrial enterprises (84.8%) use domestic software. In some cases, the share of Russian software exceeds 75% of all software used.
In most cases, Russian companies use the following programs:
- nanoCAD (Nanosoft) – the market leader, used in 63.3% of enterprises. The system offers a full set of tools for 2D and 3D design, as well as compatibility with foreign counterparts.
- Model Studio CS (CSoft Development) – used in 34% of companies, specializing in BIM modeling in construction and infrastructure.
- KOMPAS-3D (Ascon) – popular in mechanical engineering, used by 27.4% of respondents.
- Renga (Renga Software) – preferred by 12.6% of enterprises for its user-friendly interface and quick learning curve.
- T-FLEX (Top Systems) – used by 5.1% of companies, known for parametric modeling and integration with CAD/CAM/CAE.
Subsidies and special offers contribute to the promotion of Russian software products. This was noted by 22% of companies. Another 20% of domestic companies are ready to increase the share of Russian software if foreign counterparts become unavailable. However, almost as many enterprises believe that developing their own solutions is more profitable than buying ready-made software.
Russian engineering software is actively developing, offering competitive solutions. Despite the fact that there are still foreign counterparts available, many enterprises are already choosing domestic products.
