According to him, as part of the federal project, 339 million rubles were allocated to the regions of the CFD last year for the purchase of UAVs. With these funds, 226 aircraft-type and helicopter-type drones of the «Геоскан» brand, as well as 28 «Одуванчик» vehicles, were purchased. In 2025, another 28 units were purchased: 22 «Геоскана» and 6 «Одуванчиков».

Chernyshov emphasized that manned aviation and drones effectively complement each other in forest fire monitoring.

We are working out the interaction of different types of aircraft to increase both the frequency of patrols, the speed of response, and the detection of [sources of ignition].
Alexey Chernyshov, Acting Head of the Department of Forestry for the CFD

Unmanned aerial vehicles of the «Одуванчик» series are drones that are equipped with coaxial screws. They can monitor the land, water surface and perform other tasks.

«Геоскан» drones are specialized unmanned aerial vehicles used for geodetic, cartographic and topographic works. They are widely used in construction, agriculture and other areas where accurate measurement and modeling of the earth's surface is required.
