The Russian government has signed a decree on the creation of the innovative scientific and technological center (ISTC) "Phystech Valley" in Dolgoprudny. The project, initiated by MIPT, will unite research in microelectronics, quantum computing, biomedicine, aerospace technologies, AI, and robotics.
The center will include laboratories and production sites, which will accelerate the commercialization of developments. According to estimates, more than 6.3 thousand highly qualified jobs will appear here by 2039. About 20 companies have already expressed their readiness to participate in the project. Among the initiatives are the creation of intelligent systems for electronic mechanical engineering, the development of drugs against progressive myopia, and the production of unmanned loaders.
Such sites are an important tool for supporting technology companies. It helps to commercialize and implement the results of research and technical developments.
"Phystech Valley" will become part of the ecosystem of Russian innovation centers, such as "Skolkovo" and "Innopolis".
