Russian corvettes of Project 20380 "Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and "Rezky", as well as the support vessel "Pechenga", arrived in Da Nang port of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This was reported by the fleet's press service.
Russian sailors were met on the pier by officials of the Vietnamese Navy and representatives of the Russian Embassy in Vietnam.
The Russian sailors have protocol events ahead of them with Vietnamese Navy servicemen, visits to local attractions and sports events with the participation of Vietnamese sailors.
The armament of the 20380 series corvettes includes launchers of anti-ship missiles "Uran" or "Caliber-NK" (depending on the modification of the ship), artillery installations, an anti-aircraft missile system, grenade launchers, machine gun installations. They have anti-submarine and anti-torpedo protection.
